NCC Capacity Building Program 2015: Maximizing Technology for Government E-Services
Today’s call and demand for government efficiency is growing louder and more pressing given the faster pace of processes and practices across sectors and industries. To respond to this demand, government agencies are now proactively strategizing and migrating to online conduct and delivery of services. One of the challenges faced both by the beneficiaries and the implementing government bodies is the alignment of benefits, expectations, and functions of these new systems.
In line with the National Competitiveness Council’s commitment to promote competitiveness across industries and sectors, Capacity Building Sessions are organized and conducted which aim to bring together resource persons and specialists from the Public Sector to discuss topics relevant to the demands and needs of different stakeholders and societal groups. This coming March 12, Thursday, NCC will hold its first Capacity Building Session for 2015 which will bring together resource speakers and representatives from key agencies delivering Public Services through Online Platforms. The session will be held at the Technoportal A & B, UP-Ayala Technohub, Diliman Quezon City.
The speakers for this event include Deputy Commissioner Lilia Guillermo of the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s Information Systems Group, Vice President for Fund Management Group of PAG-IBIG Mr. Reynaldo Malaya, Social Insurance Specialist from Philhealth Ms. Myla Buemio and Head of the Membership Services Group of SSS Mr. Mario Sibucao. The speakers will discuss the following topics: (1) Electronic Filing and Payment System for SSS, (2) Electronic Disbursement and Collection Platform for PAG-IBIG and SSS, and (3) Electronic Premium Reporting System for Philhealth.
